nutellala2023-03-17Great day hike with Stephen to Mandara Huts I recently did the Marangu day hike with Stephen and it was a wonderful experience. He picked me up from my hotel in Arusha and we drove together to the Marangu town to begin our three-hour journey to the Mandara Huts. The hike itself was beautiful and most of this portion is through the lush tropical forest. Stephen even stopped a few times to point out the blue monkeys in their habitat and was able to share interesting insights into their mannerisms. The trail itself is very well maintained- I didn’t spot a single piece of trash the entire day. Stephen brought boxed lunches for us both and we enjoyed them once we got to the Mandara Huts. As I was eager to get a view of Kili, we even trekked a little further up to the crater to try to catch a glimpse but the clouds ended up spoiling our view that day. The hike was still well worth it! Stephen was a wonderful guide and I would highly recommend him for future Kili hikes. He was very knowledgeable, kind and easygoing. I look forward to one day returning and continuing to the top and will be sure to choose Kili Hike Adventures when I do so!

Oscar C2021-07-08It was an amazing experience hiking up Kilimanjaro with the Kili Hike Adventures team. My friend and I used Steven and the Kili Hikes Team to summit Kilimanjaro this week. We took the Machame route to summit in 6 days. It was a well organised trip with excellent service, food, etc. I would highly recommend the team that we had take us up the mountain- David as our guide and the porter team including Benson! My experience with Kili Hike Adventures was exceptional from start to finish. All the staff were so friendly and helpful the whole time which made summiting the mountain a lot easier. I appreciated the effort Stephen went to, to provide us with all our equipment and everything else we needed along the way. He also ensured I got delicious vegetarian food which made my time on the mountain even better! Summiting Kilimanjaro is a difficult but life changing experience and it is so important to do it with the right company. And it couldn’t have gone better, everything was perfectly well aranged! First of all the guides were amazing, they were so experienced and professional. On the way to the top they even helped me carry my daypack! Other than that, the food that they made for us was so delicious! Also the porters were amazing and so kind. This is definitely the best company to climb Kilimanjaro with!

Seeing the wildebeest cross the Mara River was an experience we will never forget. Accommodations surprisingly comfortable and cozy. Most were situated in lovely surroundings and were close to areas where one could view a diverse group of animals. Highly recommended.
